We were in shock and traumatized, and our tenants were even more so. Coast stepped in and coached us through the whole process, from emergency board-up of the building, to what to say to our tenants, to providing our tenants with food and drink while we waited around for five hours for the fire to be put out and all the ensuing work that followed. They gave us a lot of invaluable information, both verbally at the time, and in writing for us to read later. The literature they gave us included very detailed explanations of all the things that happen after a fire, all the work that would need to be done, and many of the scams to watch out for. Coast came out again the next day to help us through the process of getting the tenants’ possessions out, and the process of disconnecting from the tenants, so that they could move on. CC has a big office that is staffed by knowledgeable estimators, people that used to work in the insurance industry and know how the game is played, as well as experienced builders. If you ever need help with after a fire, you have to call Coast Construction. We had a fire that caused extensive damage to our home and the entire interior needed to be rebuilt. After our initial contractor ghosted us, I reached out to Kevin with Coast. From our initial conversation he was incredibly helpful and immediately got our project back on track, taking care of everything (including working with the insurance company). Linda Larez was our project manager and working with her was amazing. She was in constant communication, keeping us informed throughout the entire process and guiding us through the many decisions that we needed to make.
